In a report on the growing challenges faced by university graduates entering the job market, the public broadcaster Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) drew on data from Stellenticket. According to our analysis, the number of job openings for graduates has dropped significantly compared to 2023, by 43.9 percent in Berlin and 54.7 percent in Brandenburg. The fields of communications, marketing and IT are particularly affected.
We expect the situation to improve from the middle of next year. At the same time, the current market represents an opportunity for employers: roles with fair conditions have a high chance of attracting suitable talent.

University employees from all over Germany meet every year at the Forum Deutschlandstipendium to exchange ideas and discuss the latest developments regarding the Deutschlandstipendium. This year, we were invited to give a workshop on how to efficiently manage scholarships with our software Congeno Stip.
