LIQUID­LOOP is a TU Ber­lin spin off, a young star­tup com­pany with a mis­sion to accel­er­ate chem­istry reseach in the field of renew­able mater­i­als and devices by advan­cing the test and ana­lysis cap­ab­il­it­ies.
We focus on devel­op­ing a labor­at­ory research instru­ment for elec­tro­chem­istry, a field that will enable energy trans­ition and shift from use of fossil fuels to green, sus­tain­able fuels and chem­ic­als com­ing from renew­able energy sources.
LIQUID­LOOP team devel­ops an all encom­passing hard­ware-soft­ware mass spec­tro­metry ana­lysis sys­tem, offer­ing a real-time and pre­cise chem­ical detec­tion and iden­ti­fic­a­tion of volat­ile liquid and gas products from a liquid, made pos­sible uniquely by our pat­en­ted “Product-to-Gas inter­face” tech­no­logy.
We offer You the oppor­tun­ity to act­ively par­ti­cip­ate in revo­lu­tion­iz­ing the green energy sec­tor - mak­ing a mean­ing­ful con­tri­bu­tion to car­bon-neut­ral fuels research.

Auto­ma­tion and Sig­nal Pro­cessing for a Novel Chem­ical Test & Ana­lysis Device using Lab­VIEW soft­ware pro­gram­ming

Work­ing field:

  • Soft­ware integ­ra­tion of a novel ana­lysis and test device (FlowSys 1.2 by LIQUID­LOOP).
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the (hard­ware&soft­ware) devel­op­ment of the device.
  • Design of a user-friendly graph­ical inter­face for con­trol of the device using Lab­VIEW
  • Cre­ation and test­ing of vari­ous Lab­VIEW func­tions on the LIQUID­LOOP sys­tem (Product-to-Gas inter­face+ FlowSys)
  • Assist­ance in per­form­ing hands-on tests and ana­lyses on the device in a chem­istry lab & Maker­Gar­age


  • Enrolled in a Bach­elor´s or Mas­ter’s degree in Engin­eer­ing (Mech­an­ical, Elec­trical, Soft­ware, IT)
  • Know­ledge and exper­i­ence in soft­ware engin­eer­ing and pro­gram­ming in Lab­view, Python and Mat­lab is essen­tial.
  • Know­ledge and exper­i­ence in auto­ma­tion and con­trol pro­cesses.
  • Exper­i­ence with I/O mod­ules, flow/pres­sure sensors and con­trol­lers, plc pro­gram­ming is a big plus.
  • Interest in meth­ods such as agile and UX/UI design used in product devel­op­ment.
  • Interest or exper­i­ence with test and ana­lysis equip­ment in chem­ical labor­at­ory envir­on­ment.

  • You have a cre­at­ive and entre­pren­eur­ial spirit, are motiv­ated to work in a suc­cess­ful start-up.
  • You are dili­gent, well-organ­ized and fully com­mit­ted to the pro­ject, team player, ready to join a small team in a young com­pany and grow together with us.
  • You are at ease in writ­ten and oral com­mu­nic­a­tion in Eng­lish, Ger­man is a plus.

What we of­fer:
