Work­ing field:

Work on the rese­arch pro­ject "Sim­Ro­cUQ": Sim­u­la­tion of RF and opti­cal com­pon­ents with Uncer­tainty Quan­ti­fic­a­tion: Enhance, imple­ment, and valid­arte suit­able algo­rithms in cooper­a­tion with pro­ject part­ners, using own sim­u­la­tion codes as well as com­mer­cial tools


  • suc­cess­ful­lyl com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in elec­tri­cal engin­eer­ing or rela­ted areas (e.g. Tech­no­mathem­atik) with a focus on com­pu­ta­tio­nal elec­tro­mag­net­ics
  • very good know­ledge of sim­u­la­tion tech­niques and numer­ical ana­lysis, ide­ally also in sto­cha­s­tics
  • exper­i­ence in or the will­ing­ness to quickly work one­self into the area of app­lic­a­tion (sim­u­la­tion of RF and opti­cal com­pon­ents)
  • abil­ity to inde­pend­ently carry oput work and rese­arch

Good Eng­lish lan­guage skills are desi­red.
