Research Assist­ant - salary grade 13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len - 1st qual­i­fic­a­tion period (PhD)

Work­ing field:

Par­ti­cip­a­tion in research (hygiene of drink­ing- and indus­trial water) and teach­ing (Envir­on­mental Micro­bi­o­logy) in the core areas of the chair

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) in bio­logy or envir­on­mental tech­no­logy. Deepened know­ledge in labor­at­ory work, micro­bi­o­lo­gical tech­niques (isol­a­tion / cul­tiv­a­tion of bac­teria), fluor­es­cence micro­scopy, flow cyto­metry, molecu­lar meth­ods (DNA/RNA extrac­tion, q-PCR, sequen­cing, FISH), know­ledge in bioin­form­at­ics or/stat­ist­ical data ana­lysis (R, Mothur, Geneious), deep know­ledge in hard­ware and soft­ware (Win­dows, Linux). Teach­ing exper­i­ence is desired, excel­lent lan­guage skills in Eng­lish and Ger­man are required
